Hi all!

We are TaraLynn Semanski and Natasha Koper, the student representatives of the Research Master program Development and Socialisation in Childhood and Adolescence (DaSCA) for 2016-2pac-dasca017!

What is our job?
As student representatives, we are members of the Program Advisory Committee (PAC) of the Research Master program DaSCA. The PAC consists of two students (that’s us!) and one staff member. We discuss issues that are relevant to our master program, such as course manuals, course evaluations and the general experience of students in our program. We inform the Education Committee of any issues that occur in DaSCA.

Who are we?
TaraLynn is a first-year DaSCA student. She is an international student from the United States. As such, she is interested in international organization and helping to make the international transition more smooth for future students. Another interest she has is in bridging the gap between students and administration. She will work to make students, both international and national, feel welcomed and heard.
Natasha is a second-year DaSCA student. She’s a Dutch student, with a passion for foreign cultures and languages. Perhaps not surprisingly, she will focus on international students and creating an international classroom. Amongst other things, she will try to attract more international students, as many foreign applicants never show up.
